Children Relief Service (CRS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, supporting, and empowering vulnerable children, youth, and families in refugee and host communities.
Through child protection, education, psychosocial support, girls’ empowerment, youth development, food security, and sustainable livelihoods, CRS works to create lasting positive change and build resilient communities.
Rooted in community leadership and lived experience, CRS believes every child deserves safety, every young person deserves opportunity, and every family deserves dignity and hope.

Lives Transformed Through CRS

Save Jonamu participated in a CRS vocational training programme and developed practical skills that transformed her future. Today, she serves as a vocational training mentor, helping other girls gain the confidence, skills, and opportunities they need to build independent and sustainable livelihoods. Her journey reflects the lasting impact of investing in girls and empowering communities from within.
Through the CRS English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Bridging Program, Vanessa overcame language barriers that limited her education. With improved English skills and confidence, she is now studying in Form 4 and building a brighter future.
What began as a helping hand became a journey toward independence. Through the CRS Food Security & Sustainable Livelihoods Programme, this mother gained the support she needed to grow nutritious food, start a small business, earn a stable income, and provide for her family with dignity. Today, she is building a healthier, more hopeful future, showing how the right opportunity can create lasting change.
Through CRS vocational skills training, young women are gaining the confidence and practical skills needed to create opportunities for themselves and their families. Many are now starting small businesses, earning incomes, and contributing to healthier, more stable households. Their journeys show how investing in women’s skills and empowerment can create lasting change and stronger communities.

Children Relief Service (CRS) implements integrated programmes designed to protect children, empower youth, strengthen families, and promote sustainable community development in refugee and host communities.
Child Protection
CRS works to prevent abuse, neglect, exploitation, and violence against children by promoting safeguarding, strengthening families, empowering communities, and creating safe, child-friendly environments.
Education
CRS supports children and youth through early childhood, primary school, and secondary education, providing literacy development, educational resources, and life skills to help them succeed in school and beyond.
Feed the Hungry
CRS strengthens food security by supporting climate-smart agriculture, community farming, sustainable livelihoods, food assistance, and income-generating opportunities that help families become self-reliant.
Girls’ Empowerment
CRS empowers girls to stay in school, build confidence, develop life skills, and unlock their full potential through mentorship, education, safe spaces, vocational skills, and economic empowerment.
Youth Empowerment
CRS empowers young people to discover their potential, develop practical and leadership skills, and create positive change in their communities through mentorship and training opportunities.
